Read full description of the books Forsaken:

First, I avoid Christian fiction by black authors like the plague. This was part of a box set, the only reason I read it. All the books in this genre are about adulterous men and weak will women who love them to death. The women never are able to move on to a healthy relationship with another man in these stories. Instead, they fight for these unhealthy relationships and risk their health in the process.

I have said it a million times, my God did not create women to be used and abuse by any boyfriend or husband. This joker was so disrespectful to his wife but repentant when he was busted. I can't place all the blame on him because the wife knew he was a cheater and remained in the relationship.

In the book, the husband stated if the shoe was on the other foot. He wouldn't have been able to forgive. I don't know one man who would stay with a woman, who was carrying another man's child. That's why I hate Christian fiction, these authors write women so desperate to have a man that put up with unimaginable things.

The grace of God helps us to forgive an offense, heal, and leave an unhealthy relationship. Women need to wake up and make themselves a priority over a relationship.

I won't be continuing with this series.
